ABOUT ABOUT

COTA presents 5-K Teddy Bear Fun Run

Hosted at Innsbrook

Every child needs a little comfort. A soft teddy bear can do the trick to ease a child's fears away. We are striving to help children who need comfort who are facing trauma in emergency situations by raising teddy bears for emergency services. With the assistance of the Children"s Organ Transplant Association (COAT), Destiny, a Junior at Wright City High School has created this event to help children in need. Destiny has worked with COTA in the past to help raise money for a young girl how was in need a heart transplant.

The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) is the premier organization providing fundraising assistance to transplant families … for a lifetime. COTA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, so funds raised to help meet transplant expenses are not considered income for families.
